I suffer from Learning Disabilities and Dyslexia and if I were a student in today's classroom, I would be classified as in need of Special Education services. I spend any free time I have speaking on Learning Disabilities and Dyslexia from firsthand experience. I try to use my understanding of the way persons with Learning Disabilities think to put unique insight into the way that some students view and function in today's classroom.
I hold a Bachelor of Science and Master in Education with a Mid Management certification from Angelo State University and a Ph. D. in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University with an emphasis in Special Education. I am certified to teach elementary education, special education, science and mathematics through 8th grade, as a Texas Master Reading Teacher, and I am certified to a Principal. Currently, I am an Assistant Professor at Angelo State University in the Department of Teacher Education, Special Education Program Advisor in San Angelo, TX.
